Puppy Wellness Program (6 weeks of age and older):

• Examination:
  • The physical exam is the most important part of your puppy’s health care visit. We perform a comprehensive physical examination at the first visit to evaluate the body systems and health of your new puppy.
  • Continuing examinations are provided for your pet during the puppy program to address any medical issues that may arise.
  • After completion of this program, your puppy will then be ready to enroll in the Semi-Annual Canine Wellness Program, which will continue to assist in your pet’s health and happiness for its lifetime.
  • The time and effort invested in the Puppy Wellness Program has rewards for both you and your puppy.
• Immunizations:
  • A series of vaccinations are administered at regular intervals during the course of the Puppy Wellness Program to protect your pet from common illnesses.
• Fecal analysis:
  • A microscopic analysis of the feces is performed to identify intestinal parasites that your pet may have.
• Puppy food and supplements:
  • At the first health visit, you are provided with a small bag of Science Diet® puppy food and pet vitamins to help your pet’s nutrition get off to a great start.
• Heartworm prevention:
  • An Interceptor® sample is given to start the patient on heartworm prevention at the appropriate time. (This medication will also help in the control of hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms.)
• Rewards for enrolling your new puppy in the Silver Puppy Plan:
  • Complimentary nail trimming at each puppy visit.
  • Avid Microchip ID with registration is offered at a 50% discount for your pet (valid for 30 days from the completion of the puppy program).

Semi-Annual Canine Wellness Program (1–6 years of age):

• The physical exam is the most important part of your pet’s health care visit. We perform a comprehensive evaluation of your pet’s body systems to identify any potential abnormalities or problems. Because your pet ages more quickly than you do, it is essential to have an examination performed on your pet on a semi-annual basis. (Taking your pet to the veterinarian every 6 months is the same as if you were to see your physician for a physical examination every 3–4 years). Semi-annual examinations allow us to carefully monitor changes in your pet’s health and potentially diagnose a problem before it has a chance to become serious. The time and effort invested in a wellness program has rewards for both you and your pet.
