Our primary responsibility is to help keep your animals as healthy as possible. The care we provide is aimed at protecting your animals from disease. Early detection of potential problems is important. We recommend annual comprehensive health and dental examinations accompanied by appropriate immunizations for our small animal and equine patients. Herd health management and consultations are also available for other large animal patients.

Small Animal We provide full internal medicine evaluations, prophylactic dental cleanings as well as oral, soft tissue, ophthalmic and orthopedic surgeries for our small animal patients. With the modern diagnostic technologies of on-site radiology, ultrasonography, endoscopy and blood analysis equipment, Chaparral Veterinary Center is able to offer an added value to the health of your animal on a same day basis. |
|
Equine We provide lameness examinations, internal medicine evaluations, surgical procedures, radiology, dentistry, reproduction and ranch visits for our equine patients. Through the advancement of technology over the last several years we are able to offer performance floats that aid in both the health of the horse and their performance through the use of full-mouth speculums and motorize dental tools. Ultrasound technology aids in evaluations of tendons and muscles and in the reproduction tract of broodmares in determining when to artificially inseminate mares as well as early pregnancy detection. Chaparral Veterinary Center has an on-site EIA (coggins) Laboratory which offers quick turn around times (same day if necessary) on EIA (coggins) certificates for horse owners on the go.
